A New Bill Would Require Donald Trump To Undergo Mental Health Evaluation

Source: Huffington Post

Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-Calif.) isn't a psychiatrist, but she wants to make the president see one.

A new bill introduced in the House of Representatives would require President Donald Trump to undergo a physical and mental health exam to determine if he is stable enough to stay in office.

Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-Calif.) introduced the bill on Friday. Should the results of the said exam be unfavorable, the bill calls for Vice President Mike Pence and members of the Cabinet to remove Trump from office.

The move would invoke the 25th Amendment, a rarely-used constitutional provision that allows the vice president and a majority of Cabinet members to jointly remove the president from office and replace him with the vice president.

"Does the President suffer from early stage dementia," Lofgren asked in a statement announcing the bill.

His dementia becomes more evident every single day.

Corker's halting comments were a milestone in getting 45 removed from office for all our sake.

Of course, then we're stuck with that hypocrite Pence.

Anybody seen Jared or Ivanka lately?

of Rump's bizarre behaviors and possible invocation of the 25th.

Now that you mention that last, no. They've been hiding on vacation in Vermont, playing least in sight of Mueller and probably a couple of state investigations, not just the press. No comment about Charlottesville for understandable, if not admirable, reasons. Bannon's departure's supposed to be a big victory for him, but doubt he's clicking his heels over anything these days. Too bad.

dumbshitomania, with perhaps a touch of headupassitis.

Let's face it, anything he has now he's had since the primaries. Nothing has changed. He was a racist, xenophobic, misogynistic asshole during the presidential primaries, and nothing has changed in that respect. The electoral college failed in it's duties, but American voters failed in their duties before that. Whoever thought this nitwit was going to act Presidential once he hit Washington, needs a psychiatric evaluation themselves.

And let's not forget our good pals, the Russians. Without their help we'd have no Commander Crazy in office now, either. We owe you one, Vlad. And I hope OUR cyber hackers return the favor. Of course he's already stolen his billions, why should he care?

He was still able to the last day in office vying his only real talent following a script with a few quick platitudes. Trump is a life long con man, criminal, liar, and wannabe thug. To the day his brain shuts down and his body dies he like Reagan will have a following that over looks the obvious. Trump followers do scare me more than Trump himself as would anyone ready to grab you by the genitals. Hearts and minds do not follow.

I see where you're going with this, and the analogy fits up to a point.

However Reagan had many enablers including his entire staff, and his chief enabler was Nancy his wife.
Cheeto has no equivalent staff or wife. I believe Ivanka has already shown her limitations.

The main difference between Reagan and Trump is that Reagan was happy to let other people take the reins of government while he took his afternoon nap. He toed the mark and read the speeches they wrote for him, and that was all he had to do. (To Reagan it was just another movie role.)

But Trump is another kind of crazy altogether, Kaiser in his own little bubble-world. His tweets and camera face-time still display to the world how crazy he really is. Maybe a little dementia too, but this guy is flat-out looney, and his family has known it all along.

Reagan's dementia was manageable, but Cheeto's is definitely not, because he can't be managed.

He could have carried out his lines with a very different ideology. Trump in his arrogance thinks he is running the show and is more than a tool of foreign sabatoge. Trump most likely is in early stages of dementia,

Everyone needs to encourage them to speak out more. They all have said (mainly in private) that they know he is a crazy narcissist. We need to focus on putting the blame on Congress like we did with the ACA repeal. Everyone needs to put the blame where it belongs. Congress could impeach him tomorrow on the Emoluments Clause alone if they wanted to.

Resist! Peace.

The repubs should have vetted tRUMP first, who at first glance, wouldn't made it as a viable candidate under old vetting rules...but they overlooked it (the process to vet, in fervent desire to capture the WH).

Now look at what we have, a disaster that's going to bring everything associated with tRUMP crashing down, as it should.
