I too am tired of the talking points, the Twitter reactions, the spokespersons for elected representatives coming out in condemnation of the president.

State government officials can do little officially to address the Trump nightmare but they could encourage the citizens of their state to reach out to their elected Senate and house representatives to act (especially the Republican reps).

political pardons out of bounds, and I don't think this was a political pardon. It was a pardon that was given without sentence, without contrition, without the supposed 5 year waiting period for pardons, to suit the undermining of Rule of Law and the Bill of Rights. It wasn't just a crony pardon. They're all going to pardon their cronies. This was a blow against democracy, with racist elements and undertones. Maybe I just don't consider partisan politics about racism because the subject is or was settled law and is so far out of the mainstream.
