This is not what he signed up for: Confidant says Trumps mood worst its ever been

Source: raw story

30 Aug 2017 at 10:38 ET

..................................

A source close to the president said Trump was angered that Tillerson and economic adviser Gary Cohn criticized his response to a Charlottesville white supremacist rally, but there’s not much he can do about it, reported Politico.

“I think that cuts him to the quick,” the source told the website.

.............................................
.

The White House has experienced an exodus of staffers in recent weeks, although few of those positions have been filled — and, outside of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, no one seems especially eager to join the administration.............................

“He feels like this is not what he signed up for, and his accomplishments are being underplayed,” the source said. “He just looks around and says, ‘When is this going to get better?’”

Must be difficult when he might realize that the only one that likes him on earth is him, himself. And the majority think he's an idiot. And, he was not elected king of the universe.

That's why the Deplorables stick with him. He said he was an asshole who would govern as an asshole. They voted for a guy they thought was an asshole and now they've got their asshole in the White House. They're not surprised. Why should anyone else be?

He had the largest inaugural audience ever.

He's signed more bills into law since Nebuchadnezzar.

And we don't understand.

He complains about fake news and he complains that the media doesn't highlight his accomplishments but it's not true.

The media has done an excellent job highlighting Trump's accomplishments. Trump has completed more rounds of golf than Obama or Bush by this time during their presidency.

Trump said he was going to drain the swamp and he has... it just so happened that the swamp has Trump's name on it. Just look at all of the firing and forced resignation from his own staff. Sure he hired them but they were all swamp creatures.

Trump has managed to amass a huge following of people who hate him and wish he were thrown out of office. Surely, creating that level of hate and disgust is certainly a skill.

Let us not forget that Trump has spent more time using social media and Twitter to communicate directly with the American people. Say what you want but you know what he is thinking. The media is always ready to share the ramblings of a madman, I mean words of the president with the public.

See, the media does highlight Trump's accomplishments.

You mean positive accomplishments? Oh. What has he done worth while again?

....straw. He resents deeply being forced to look like he gives a flying f@ck about people he disdains and has zero feeling for.

It bores him and interrupts too much his inner fantasies which require servants, gold gilt, and sycophant praise surrounding him at all times. Hurricanes are downright.....funky. He just doesn't want to spend his time this way.

As does the rest of the world. The difference being that he's the problem, but he thinks everyone else needs to change to suit him. Apart from the white supremacists who form his base, of course - they're just honoring their heritage. He's quite happy for them to never change.

He has no idea how government works and he doesn't care. And he's not the least bit interested in learning.

He wants Congress to kiss his ring. He wants the media to plaster his ugly mug all over the tee vee and heap praise upon him.

He wants to be DEAR LEADER.

We are so lucky to have such a winning pResident with so much winning and fortitude for what I am sure will be oh so much more winning.

He could writhe on the ground, froth at the mouth, wet his pants and call for his mommy in a baby voice, and they would STILL say he is making America great again, and that God saved us all by not letting Hillary become president. Any released unflattering taping of such a scene would be labeled by Fox and team Trump as "fake news" and 87% of Republicans would believe that.

Cult - a misplaced or excessive admiration for a particular person or thing, aka Cult45

It would be irrational in their circle to think unlike others around them. And anyone trying to convert them may be delt with harshly.
Explaining Cult45
Trump’s rhetoric and the vile ideology which has vastly reverberated across political, public, and media spaces, most observably and belligerently by supporters on social media, at his rallies, and in other venues, encompass profoundly vicious, mean spirited, power adoring, sadistic, violent, homophobic, misogynistic, racist, ethnocentric, and xenophobic sentiment. - LogosJournal.com

ButterflyLady, I believe the "accomplishment" you're asking about is the appointment of Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch.

I don't know of anything else most people would count as "winning."

Wed Aug 30, 2017, 07:10 PM

The ego can only lie to itself, while everyone else can see the ego's BS. It must be very embarrassing and infuriating to be constantly repudiated for being a clueless asshole. Life would be much simpler and easier - even joyful - if Trump dropped his narcissistic self-aggrandizement. But we all know that won't happen. And so we are condemned to suffer watching his ego-drama everyday single day.

A reasonable and normal person would simply shut up and lie low after so many awful and despicable gaffs and stumbles. But he has a lifetime habit of shooting his mouth off. Eventually, he will bring about his own demise.
