Ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer has been crowned winner of America’s Got Talent.

The 12-year-old blew the judges away with her incredible pipes and will get to star in her own Las Vegas show, as well as taking home $1million.

Mel B – who chose Darci Lynne as her Golden Buzzer act earlier in the series, told her the performance was ‘incredible’, adding: ‘You are just, you’re so poised, and I still don’t know how you do it ‘cause I try and watch for your mouth moving and you are that professional.

I just hope her career is properly managed. So many child performers have parents who quit their jobs and become their "manager". That's what happened to Scott Baio. Maybe that's why he's so bitter.

Watched her performance the other day. I generally have no interest in these shows, but she was simply amazing.

Such incredible poise and presence at that age, and what a voice!

She is preternaturally talented.

Ventriloquism is an art form that is rarely done, and the fact that this girl can belt expertly with her jaw closed is amazing.

I know it sounds ridiculous. Ventriloquist acts, how early-20th-Century vaudeville? Nevertheless, he entertains.

...she sings better than most contemporary pop music stars, without auto-tuning, and without moving her lips.

Vocally, she's Fantastic.

Once she's allowed to actually mover her lips, she's beyond the beyond...remember, she's only 12 yo!!

I think that's maybe the coolest thing I've seen in years, if we're talking about television entertainment. THIS is the kind of thing we used to look forward to seeing on TV.

I hope that kid is having (and will have) a happy life. She is obviously ridiculously talented and deserves the dough.
