President Trump on Wednesday said it is "disgusting the press is able to write whatever it wants to write" during remarks from the Oval Office, with Canadian Prime Mininister Justin Trudeu sitting by his side.

Trump was asked about a report from NBC News that claimed he’d sought to dramatically expand the U.S. nuclear arsenal.

Trump called the report “fake news” and said a ten-fold increase in the U.S. nuclear arsenal would be “totally unnecessary” and that he merely wants U.S. weapons programs to be in “tip top shape.”

“It is frankly disgusting the press is able to write whatever it wants to write,” Trump said.

What this means is the Constitution of the United States..and its amendments..(see First Amendment) are the supreme law of the land. It comes before any other law or law maker. Therefore, the First Amendment comes before any law maker, President, state, or any ass**le in the government, (state or federal) that thinks he runs things.

The First Amendment is very powerful. "..NO LAW ABRIDGING FREEDOM OF SPEECH AND OF THE PRESS."..."OR THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE TO PEACEABLY ASSEMBLE AND PETITION THE GOVERNMENT FOR A REDRESS OF GRIEVANCES.."

Simply put, the President is bound by the Constitution and the First Amendment.. He must follow it, he does not make the law, the Constitution is the law. The.. "SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND"
