Miami congressional candidate claims she was visited by aliens
Source: The Hill
A candidate for a Florida congressional seat claims she was visited by aliens and has communicated with them several times throughout her life.
Bettina Rodriguez Aguilera said in a 2009 television appearance that she went up into the spaceship when she was 7 years old, according to McClatchy.
I went in. There were some round seats that were there, and some quartz rocks that controlled the ship not like airplanes, Rodriguez Aguilera said in the interview, a video of which was posted to YouTube and first reported on by McClatchy.
She said she was visited by three large, blonde beings at the time. One was male and two were female.

(Saw parts of this movie on TV the other night -- very disturbing, but not as disturbing as the reality in which we currently find ourselves!)

And it didn't happen by accident.

(21,603 posts)Had she been a Democrat, the healine would've probably read: 'Democrat vying for Miami congressional seat claims she was visited by aliens.'
Note that she would be merely "vying" for the congressional seat - i.e. not a real candidate that should be taken seriously.
That said, I more or less believe her. I've never had a close encounter with any off-world beings (that I know of); but the idea has never seemed strange to me in any way. I find it harder to believe that we are, indeed, all alone out here.

So a much more advanced civilization uses rocks for steering.....I wonder if the round seats had seat belts? Don't wanna mess those pretty blonde faces in case of sudden stop you know.

GOP candidate claims her lifelong conversations with UFO aliens have revealed ancient secrets

A Florida Republican whos running for Congress has in the past claimed that she has been the victim of alien abductions.
The Miami Herald reports that Bettina Rodriguez Aguilera, a 59-year-old Republican whos running for the seat currently held by retiring Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL), claims that she has had encounters with extraterrestrials who have communicated with her telepathically since the age of seven.
During a 2009 interview, Rodriguez Aguilera described being brought aboard a space ship and having conversations with aliens who let her in on key secrets about their visits to Earth.
I went in, she explained. There were some round seats that were there, and some quartz rocks that controlled the ship not like airplanes......................................
