WASHINGTON (AP) — The Latest on President Donald Trump (all times local):

2:40 p.m.

President Donald Trump is taking another swipe at former campaign opponent Hillary Clinton.

Trump tells reporters in the Rose Garden that he hopes Clinton runs for president again, adding, “Hillary, please run again!”

Trump was asked about Clinton’s recent defense of NFL players who have taken a knee during the playing of the national anthem. The former secretary of state and 2016 Democratic presidential nominee says the players were demonstrating in a peaceful way against racism and injustice.

The president says that is an example of why Clinton lost the campaign. He says that “she was not good at what she did.”

President Donald Trump says of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation: “I’d like to see it end.”

Trump is speaking in the Rose Garden in an impromptu White House press conference.

Asked about Mueller’s investigation into potential coordination between Russia and the Trump campaign, Trump says: “The whole Russia thing was an excuse for the Democrats losing the election.”

Trump adds “there has been absolutely no collusion. It’s been stated they have no collusion.”

Still, Trump says he is not considering firing Mueller. He says, “No, not at all.”

#3 Democrats need to stay ON MESSAGE about Trump's ineptitude, cruelty and sabotage
of all the things Obama accomplished which help ordinary, middle-class citizens, such as...

Remind the public that we now have "Trumpcare", which is something designed to fail.
He wants to murder the ACA, while claiming that it is dying from natural causes.
Millions will see their premiums go up and/or not be able to afford them.

The "tax reform" plan is just the Bush II tax reform version 2.0 -- a borrow-and-spend
budget buster that pillages the U.S. Treasury to favor about 1000 rich people. Middle-class
Americans will get nothing, some people (like myself) will see their taxes go UP.

His approach to foreign policy is reckless and dangerous, provocation of N. Korea and Iran,
sabotage of any treaty made under Obama are all arrogant and dangerous, threatening
security of the wholeplanet.

His horrible response to victims of the hurricane in Puerto Rico resulted in literal death.
It also reveals a cruel, sadistic core. Do not let this issue pass away.

When he brings up athletes who protest during the national anthem, we must bring the
focus back to the real issue by asking the simple question: "WHY are they doing what
they are doing?" He wants to focus on the "What", but we must not allow him to avoid the "Why".

Above all, focus on HIS pathological personality which renders him unfit for any public office:
the racism, misogyny, white-supremacy, mendacity, pettiness, vindictiveness, intellectual
paucity, divisiveness, immaturity, cruelty, grandiosity, crudeness and vulgarity. There are
too many to choose from ! We need to make clear what type of "person" is in the White House.

health insurance going away or their premiums rising. He's laying the groundwork for them to blame the Democrats' obstruction as the cause and from what I've read in online comments, that is what the MORONS believe.
