Mnuchin: Comparisons to James Bond villain a compliment
Source: The Hill
Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin on Sunday said he takes it as a compliment that some people suggested that he and his wife looked like villains from a James Bond movie when they posed with newly printed currency.
I never thought Id be quoted as looking like villains from James Bond. I guess I should take that as a compliment that I look like a villain in a great, successful James Bond movie, Mnuchin said on Fox News Sunday."
Mnuchin and his wife, Louise Linton, caused a stir on social media last week when they posed with a sheet of newly printed dollar bills, the first bearing Mnuchins signature.
A photo of the two quickly went viral, with Linton locking eyes with the camera while holding the sheet while wearing a black leather glove, and Mnuchin looking off into the distance.

(24,683 posts)Yes, It's Legal! Many people assume that it's illegal to stamp or write on paper currency, but they're wrong! ... You CANNOT burn, shred, or destroy currency, rendering it unfit for circulation.
Game on, if I read this correctly.................

If there were any sort of reputation for humanity or humor from them, it could be almost a case of mugging for the camera.
But when has any republican ever been suspected of having humanity or humor?
