How do they now know it was his missing body part?

We know from this story that his coffin did not contain all of his body. No indication that I saw in the article what was in the coffin and what was not. It could be a finger tip. Or the coffin contained only a finger tip. No indication either that the majority of his remains have been recovered, only that they have recovered at least two pieces.

"How do they now know it was his missing body part?"

DNA. All service members now submitted DNA samples for the purpose of body identification.

Rather than making wild ass guesses based on no knowledge whatsoever, and providing the basis for nightmares, it's enough to know that the military, under Trump, was and is, not telling the entire truth.

Not clicking your link, I don't want to watch video of an unrelated beheading. Maybe snuff films are your thing, but you don't need to share them with the world.

I lost the debate? Might want to recheck that. Every post of the newbie who posted a link to a unrelated beheading video has been removed.

Awkward!! (PS LEFTNYC sides with a removed post, In fairness, you might side with the removed post too.)

Really awkward, defending posts that were removed by a jury.

In general, after someone is convicted, it's best to not volunteer that you helped...

Will his wife insist to see what they found?

in this story. IF the body parts were found "...at the site in Niger where his body was recovered..." . Why weren't those parts recovered when the body was discovered? Why were the body parts left to be recovered later? There is too many disconnected parts surrounding this horrible tragedy.

Especially in areas that may not be under our control. The area his body was recovered from may be in a dangerous area. The recovery team will move in and try to recover what they can, but they cannot always remain there for long periods of time for fear of being ambushed. Our enemies know we do what we can to recover our dead and will many times leave the remains as bait. And knowing first hand how groups like ISIS treat US remains, there was not likely not "a" body. Nor in a single spot.
