Trump lawyer says Mueller obtained transition emails illegally

Source: The Hill

A lawyer for President Trump's transition team said Saturday that Robert Mueller's special counsel office obtained tens of thousands of emails from the Trump transition organization illegally, Reuters reports.

Kory Langhofer, counsel to Trump for America (TFA), wrote a letter to several congressional committees claiming that Mueller's team improperly obtained thousands of emails from the General Services Administration (GSA), where the Trump transition team housed its staffers during the transition.

Langhofer's letter accuses Mueller's team of “unlawfully produc[ing] TFA’s private materials, including privileged communications, to the Special Counsel’s Office,” according to Reuters.

The illegally obtained documents include “tens of thousands of emails," the letter adds.

The fact that Mueller felt the need to respond makes clear what dire straits our nation is in. Doturd saying he's going to "rebuild" the FBI should've shocked any patriot. The shit is really hitting the fan now.

It would be unwise to commit something like that to email, but in what way have they showed wisdom? Even if they tried to be vague, that could almost be a roadmap. Even knowing which ones were concerned and about whom is useful.

Is the trump team losing their cool over them? If they didn't do anything wrong why worry?

A new poll has found that 63 percent of Americans believe President Donald Trump has tried to “impede or obstruct” the investigations into Russian interference in the U.S. election and possible links between Trump’s campaign and the Kremlin.

Additionally, 40 percent are convinced Trump did something “illegal” with Russia, according to the Associated Press-NORC poll, while 32 percent believe he has done something “unethical” concerning Russia.

The poll found the president had only a 32 percent approval rating, with 67 percent disapproving of the way Trump is handling his job as president. Those numbers mimic the findings of an earlier Pew Research poll.

Most American's who keep up with this are not stupid! The writing is on the wall

be interpreted, what some fool may have said that makes Trump look bad but is not criminal (did you pick up daddy's new false teeth and Viagra), derogatory comments about important people, etc., is one possibility. The other could be they wrote a road map to the prize, Trump's impeachment. But I don't think the latter is likely.

As to people thinking he's guilty, I don't think that makes a lot of difference. I think he's guilty of something -- if only being the most ignorant fool to ever be elected to public office, or selling his influence for personal gain -- but we need something that enough people will demand impeachment. Enough people voted for him, notwithstanding knowing he had Ruskie ties, grabbed women, had read the dossier, was a braggart, and maybe worse.

they will incriminate many whether the crimes were collusion, money laundering, obstruction, etc. They may not be the smoking gun, but they help account for the guns whereabouts. the Kushner calls before and after the Flynn/Kislyack meeting are a good example.

Sun Dec 17, 2017, 05:48 AM
Dec 2017

Peter Carr, Special Counsel spokesman:
“When we have obtained emails in the course of our ongoing criminal investigation, we have secured either the account owner’s consent or appropriate criminal process.”

So FAUX news can ram it and so can drumpf's attorney's

It all began around around 5pm on Saturday when Axios reported that Mueller has been sitting on fifty thousand emails from the Trump transition team all along (link). Mueller had kept this a secret, and had tricked Trump’s people into a false sense of security by requesting copies of the emails that he already had. Trump’s people only turned over the non-incriminating emails, and thought they were covered. This means he has a whole lot of people nailed for various crimes. If Trump tries to make a move, Mueller can begin arresting them all before Trump can complete the complicated process of trying to fire him.
