Exclusive: Bannon says I'm sorry

Source: Axios

Battered by the backlash from Michael Wolff's book, Steve Bannon is trying to make amends with the Trump family, providing a statement to Axios that expresses "regret" to President Trump and praises his son, Donald Trump Jr.

"Donald Trump, Jr. is both a patriot and a good man. He has been relentless in his advocacy for his father and the agenda that has helped turn our country around."

"My support is also unwavering for the president and his agenda — as I have shown daily in my national radio broadcasts, on the pages of Breitbart News and in speeches and appearances from Tokyo and Hong Kong to Arizona and Alabama."

"President Trump was the only candidate that could have taken on and defeated the Clinton apparatus. I am the only person to date to conduct a global effort to preach the message of Trump and Trumpism; and remain ready to stand in the breech for this president's efforts to make America great again."

Bannon's statement goes on to say that his comments about the Trump Tower meeting "came from my life experiences as a Naval officer" and were really aimed at Manafort, who "should have known they are duplicitous, cunning and not our friends."

He reiterates what he said on "60 Minutes": "There was no collusion and the investigation is a witch hunt."

And finally he says he regrets that his "delay in responding to the inaccurate reporting" has distracted from Trump's "historic accompliishments."

The Mercers were paying for his protection and said they were going to take that away
and Bannon has made lots of enemies in his slimy life. BTW Putin plays for keeps.

*******
Bannon just said that he was taken out of context when he said, Don Jr.'s meeting w/the
Russian in June of 2016 @ Trump Tower was an act of treason.

They have one policy and one policy only: self enrichment. This is their god. All else can be sacrificed. They will willingly sacrifice the nation and the future of our children for their own greed. Their is no hope for justice as long as they rule. It is, in my estimation, imperative for the future of the nation that the Republicans be soundly defeated in the up coming elections.

So Steve when you went through naval training did they or did they not say that if a foreign power makes contact with a US. citizens that you are "suppose" to contact the FBI, did you or did you not convey that military training on yourself and these traitors?

Because apparently your a traitor, since you were part of the foreign apparatus in that traitors white house, you basically failed in that requirement, and you even sat next to one of the people in a chair that pled guilty to lying on his forms of being a foreign agent, when the main sexual predator with an ego about as big as him, was ranting with the Australian government do you remember that Steve....................have you seen the pictures....................your a fucking idiot also.....................

That's a fast turnaround, but then all they had to wait for was for the book to take off...gotta replace that income that the Mercers jerked away.

Bannon will prostitute himself to someone else with deep pockets. He seems to be in that circle of tax dodgers and thieves. I'm just surprised he hasn't been found in a dark alley where he tripped and hit his head really, really bad.

Unbelievable waste of time.

Contrived twists and turns of a soap opera...perhaps Trump and the WH deserve credit for turning the administration into something worthy of a reality tv series- where everything is manipulated and edited for maximum effect...plenty of twists and turns to keep one’s interest and appetite for more, simple dialog and sound bites for those with short attention spans, the true meaning lost on most observers just along for the entertainment.

Steve Bannon's all-of-a-sudden realization of his fuck-up comes at no surprise once the Mercer money was cut off. Judas Iscariot sold his soul for far less than what Bannon did.

What Steve Bannon and others did was expose the Trump Administration and White House for what it really is......a retched hive of scum and villainy.

Dumping Trump was a great career saving move for Bannon. Saying "I am sorry" will cost Bannon his alt-right support. It makes him look weak. Or scared.

Which raises another possibility---are so many people so eager to talk to Mueller, because he can get them federal protection? In Russia, all Mueller's witnesses would be dead. But it will be very hard for the Kremlin and Russian mob to kill them if the FBI/CIA and NSA are protecting them.

And to any VIP's who have been thinking about allying with Putin and Russia, keep in mind that Putin does not care if your last name is Koch. He will have you rubbed out if you cross him. That is the real difference between Russia and the USA.
