The Republican National Committee (RNC) in an email sent Monday shows Sen. Bernie Sanders’s (I-Vt.) wife, Jane, in jail.

The RNC email, with the subject line “jane in jail??,” includes an update on a federal investigation centered on Jane Sanders's time as president of Burlington College.

“To recap: The Obama Justice Department launched a federal probe into allegations that Jane committed bank fraud while she was president of the now-defunct Burlington College, and that Bernie used his official office to grease the wheels on a loan,” the email reads.

The email also features a post from a Vermont-based blogger, VTDigger, that reports a grand jury has begun to hear witness testimony in the case.

VTDigger reported in 2016 that Jane Sanders had inflated the amount of donations the small Vermont college had received.

I also have heard about a dossier that the GOP has on Bernie.
