Tom Brady. Patriots Beat Jaguars, Advance to 2018 Super Bowl After Injury Scare

Source: CNN/Bleacher Report

The New England Patriots are headed to their second straight Super Bowl after defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars 24-20 on Sunday at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

Tom Brady, whom ESPN's Adam Schefter reported suffered a laceration on his throwing hand earlier this week, finished 26-of-38 for 290 yards and two touchdowns.

Blake Bortles threw for 293 yards and a touchdown on 23-of-36 passing in a losing effort.

Brady's four-yard touchdown pass to Danny Amendola with 2:48 left in the fourth quarter proved to be the game-winning score.

This article will be updated to provide more information on this story as it becomes available.

It was looking bad - down 10 point and Gronkowski out before halftime. But the "GOAT" did it again (I know, he's a conservative republican but this is sports)

On to the Super Bowl again.

20 of 21 members of Congress have D's. 11 of 12 U.S. Senators caucus with Dems. Every state voted Hillary. That's who I'm happy for.

If the rest of the country voted like New England, Hillary would have had more than 500 electoral votes, Congress would have 400 Democratic members and the Senate would be 92 Dems to 8 Repukes.

To say I'm happy for those fans, you bet your ass I'm happy for them.

They inflated the balls during the half against Indy. Before half-time it was 17 - 7. After half-time the Patriots scored 28 more points and Indy nothing. Final score 45 - 7.

As a life-long Patriots fan who was raised and lived in New England for much of my life, I could do with a little less agita and anxiety during the game. I hope the game sucks and the Pats are ahead by 40 points by the end of the first quarter so I can thoroughly enjoy the Super Bowl party.

I don’t see any team beating Brady now. Gronk will be back for the Suoerbowl. He’s got two weeks, and as demonstrated yesterday, it just doesn’t matter who Brady plays with. Next man up is the Belichik way.
