White House fires back at Graham: 'Hes been an outlier for years

Source: MSN/The Hill

The White House hit back at Sen. Lindsey Graham's (R-S.C.) comments calling White House aide Stephen Miller an "outlier" on immigration, using the same phrase to describe Graham's stance on the topic.

"As long as Sen. Graham chooses to support legislation that sides with people in this country illegally and unlawfully instead of our own American citizens, we're going nowhere. He's been an outlier for years," White House spokesman Hogan Gidley said in a statement Sunday night, according to several reports.

Graham had used nearly identical terms to describe Miller on immigration earlier in the day.

"Every time we have a proposal it is only yanked back by staff members. As long as Stephen Miller is in charge of negotiating immigration, we're going nowhere," the senator told reporters.

It is almost as if the White House is trying to prolong the shutdown, because it allows them to run with their blame immigrants for the shutdown campaign.

Glad the liberal media is out in full force on this. Graham has taken the place of the mavericky Mcain, who always talked a good game, but in the end would always vote in line of the horrid policies of his party.

Africa has Shithole countries.
Paid the pornstar off, but claims no affair.
Causes government shutdown, but blames Dems. When Obama was president the buck stopped with him.
Stabs another ally in the back.

Melania must really love his money.
GOP must really love their power.

I cannot imagine a more horrible human. Even Hitler showed some loyalty to longtime friends (not Rohm). I guess they are very similar.

His staff know that they can sway him to their liking if they make him scared. That's all it takes. That's Kelly and Miller's secret sauce: persuade Trumpy to fear something, and you've got him in your hip pocket. Then pair that with calling him "Superman" and you've got him eating out of your hand.

Isn't it amazing that it's become appropriate and sometimes fashionable to speak of the president in these terms? His pliability is emotionally-based, and apparently, he's blind to his being manipulated.

hair and a brain!! Too bad tRump does not know any competant people. He surrounds himself with snot-nosed know-it-alls who know nothing. Bird brained Ivanka is polishing her resume for her run at the WH. She will make a great president, with daddy's old crew helping her. (the gop members who do not bail before then!)

Community health clinics have not been funded for over 3 months (as per Bernie), and now here in southeast South Dakota, the state offices are closed due to the snow storm we have right now. But rest assured, our GOP governor made sure that the state hospital/psychiatric ward make it to work regardless.

Putin really needs for this shutdown to take. He tried to kill the dollar 10 years ago by organizing the BRIC countries. That didn't work, but the shutdown might make international investors sufficiently skittish.
