Washington (CNN)When Harvey Weinstein was accused of sexually assaulting women nearly four months ago, Republicans called on Democratic lawmakers and committees to return contributions from the Hollywood mogul and major donor.

Wynn has denied the allegations. The Wynn Resorts board of directors said Friday it has formed a special committee made up of independent directors to investigate the allegations.

That's like asking a tree to return sunlight or asking a fish to return water.

Without it, they can't survive.

The Journal story says that one married manicurist received a $7.5 million settlement from Wynn after she complained in 2005 that she had been ordered by Wynn to have sex, even though she told him she was married and did not want to have sex.
