Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) slammed President Trump for pledging to consider allowing teachers to carry concealed weapons in schools, calling the idea “absolutely abhorrent.”

“That idea of concealed carry is absolutely abhorrent,” Blumenthal said on CNN’s “The Situation Room” Wednesday. “It is an anathema. As the Sandy Hook parent Nicole Hockley told him, we need to prevent these shootings by getting guns out of the hands of dangerous people.”

Trump “has to do more than listen, and more than talk about guns,” Blumenthal said, adding that now “is the time for action” on gun control.

In a separate interview, Blumenthal again slammed the idea, saying it was a “dangerous and frightening prospect” that “makes schools less safe.”
“That idea has been rejected soundly and consistently by the entire educational community,” he said on MSNBC’s “Hardball with Chris Matthews.” “By teachers, superintendents, principals - because it makes schools less safe. And it is a non-starter.”

2. Job req for teacher: must be OK w/exposing school children to you blowing another kid's brains out

OMFG! That's the conservative position. Arm the teacher and they'll put this killer down...in front of other school children.

If it's not good enough for adults to watch, then I don't imagine it's okay for children to watch.

3. Teachers in arms

This is an Argument that has gone on for years.
If all the teachers are armed then there is a chance they could stop a mass shooting.
Bullshit theory. If a Student is shooting up a high school with an assault rifle.. how hard would it be to shoot em if you been
teaching them for years.. you know them , you know their parents.. and that's not your job. what the Government wants you
to do is teach the students, Heck they even tested the students to get rid of bad teachers and now they want them to
shoot to kill.
Even if every Teacher had a gun. will the Congress pass a bill to finance guns and ammo to Teachers and a Monthly
program to keep them trained in handling and going thru swat team exercising training to handle those hostile situations.
Will they evoke a Veterans program for getting shot in the line of duty or life injuries, The Teacher are being asked to be an
armed army to prevent this situation. so training and funding is necessary.
Or the Lame asses will Put Teachers at risk,, if a cop comes in a situation like that and see anyone with a gun they
don't know, if that's the shooter ? they lay em down take the weapon and that person is eliminated as a threat.

They Cut the tax for teachers that supply Materials to students because government cut funds for schools on every vote.

I am really sure when they say. Give guns to teachers , they Will not support em, In risk, finance, and recovery,
just use em as a scapegoats and pretend they can be Rambo. So the Politicians can find cover in Cowardice to the NRA

Just adding a future prediction

Ok Republicans want to privatize everything, so the new solution in the new world order Is to privatize public schools like prisons.
Prisons make money and we pay for em. So bus the students in and bus them out. they Learn the A B C's and get to make shivs in shop. what a great government upbringing.. and wow the Gun nuts get to keep their unnecessary weapons of Mass Destruction.
And a GOV funded business gets growing stocks in the stock market. win ... kinda win......

4. Question #2: Mr. Cruz waits outside of school grounds when school lets out

He still has his clips and his legally purchased fully armed AR-15. tRump's armed teachers are out of place and Cruz kills 17 as before.
