The event, which was held at the YWCA Downtown, was part of California billionaire and environmental activist Tom Steyer’s “Need to Impeach” campaign — the funding for which has come from his own pocket. If he was so issue focused his ads wouldn't feature him talking in each one.
It would just be about the issue.
He is selling Tom Steyers.
You are right, if he spent that money on other candidates I would believe he cared much more than I do now which is zero.

When Trump hands the House and Senate to the Democrats, what's left of the Republicans will line up to impeach him. It wouldn't surprise me if the line starts even before November as many of them already see the writing on the wall and others are going to retire rather than face mounting opposition and will have nothing to lose.

Room when we have a president who is singlehandedly destroying our country, our beliefs and our values while everyone stands by without a word. Trump must be impeached. Now if we are to save ourselves. This is no longer the time to wait for solutions to materialize while we ponder. Millions of us put all out faith in one man, Mueller. Now we have two.
