Daniels' lawyer says some alleged incidents took place during Trump presidency

Source: CNN

Washington (CNN)The lawyer representing the adult film star Stormy Daniels alleges that some of the accusations she's making against President Donald Trump occurred while Trump was in office, her lawyer said Friday.

"Is there anything in the litany of accusations -- you would call them facts -- that surround this case that happened while Donald Trump was President?" CNN's Jake Tapper asked Michael Avenatti, Daniels' lawyer, during an interview Friday.

"Yes," Avenatti replied.

When asked by Tapper if he could elaborate, Avenatti gave a simple "no."

Avenatti had claimed earlier Friday in an interview with CNN's Chris Cuomo that Daniels was "physically threatened to stay silent about what she knew about Donald Trump." He declined to provide further details about who made the threat during that interview, including whether or not it was Trump or someone associated with him.

He keeps giving just enough "interesting" information, but few details, implying there's more to come. Probably a lot more.

Whoa. This is some grim, dark stuff (in my world, at least).

A sitting President (or his agent) coercing a private citizen to remain silent about her own (non-national security) experiences is beyond my experience. This is Harding-level abuse of position.

The payoffs were made before the election, so probably Stormy Daniels was included in that number.

I hope the journalists start asking Michael Cohen more questions about that. He was in charge of handling and paying off the women so they wouldn't come forward and embarass Cheeto during the campaign. Since Fire and Fury was published in January, nobody has come forward to dispute anything in the book, including Steve Bannon.

I didn’t check the “news” for the last few hours. Silly me.

It’s every single fucking hour now ... and even an “hour” is an eon in the “Trump Newscycle”.
