Fox News host Sean Hannity on Saturday invited James Comey to come on his broadcast programs after the former FBI director took to Twitter to share his thoughts on President Trump.

Hannity responded to a tweet from Comey telling Trump that "the American people will hear my story very soon" by inviting the former FBI chief to appear on his prime-time Fox News show and his radio show.

...about his vacation and things he does with his grandkids. Hannity would have one of those desk lamps like in the old detective movies and not have any water on the desk.

The trick he uses is to shoot a question that requires a nuanced answer at him, then interrupt to ask a new one. It gives the appearance that the interviewee can't answer a simple question. It's frustrating to watch.

Hannity has been in direct contact and receiving information from Julian Assange, a fugitive from justice, and an agent of a hostile foreign power. Comey is likely to know much detail regarding this subject. Comey could compromise such an investigation by speaking with Hannity. Comey, Yates, and Bharara were all investigating Fox before they were fired.

Hannity will, of course, say that Comey is a coward, and such a narrative will play well with his viewership.
