McCain on Putin election victory: Russians know 'his claim to power is a sham'

Source: The HILL

.
Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) on Sunday blasted Russian President Vladimir Putin's reelection as "a sham."

"That #Putin had to work so hard to drive voter turnout shows the Russian people know his claim to power is a sham," McCain tweeted shortly after exit polls showed Putin won a fourth term.

"The US stands with all Russians yearning for freedom," he added.

he didn’t do a good job raising kids, his daughter did not turn out to be a good person, but mccain has not been good for a long time. His legacy will always remain palin; that is how he will always be remembered in history books, not as a war hero he once used to be. He alowed politics to corrput his soul and his family.

and the Russians love Putin and don't like the US. I heard that he IS popular over there before. CNN showed a graph that tracked how Russians felt about the US since 1999. In 1999 22% thought the US was the enemy, today 68% think so. In 1992 66% regretted the collapse of the USSR and today 58% still do. Finally, in 2012 Putin had a 69% approval rating and now he has 81%. They want Russia to be a world power again.
The graphs start at 38 min.

That both believe we should be the world's sole superpower, (and to hell with the Chinese).

What could possibly go wrong?

Good thing neither of our leaders it the type to worry about 'Mine's bigger than yours'... eh?

Told me she was surprised he didn’t win 130% of the vote. That’s what the public there expects.

Trump won the electoral vote, but he still had to brag that he lost the popular vote due to millions of illegal votes.

The poisoning of an old spy and his daughter in the U.K. might drive some Russians to the polls out of fear that the guy probably responsible for it might be able to find out exactly who didn't vote for him and...

The poisoning of an old spy and his daughter in the U.K. predictably drew the condemnation of the West, prompting a big show of solidarity among Russians for their Dear Leader in the impending election.

Vladimir Putin's campaign chief says election turnout was up 8-10% "thanks to Great Britain" and the Sergei Skripal poisoning.

Draw your own conclusions.
