Poll: More view NRA negatively than positively for first time since before 2000

Source: The Hill

More people view the National Rifle Association (NRA) negatively than positively, according to a new poll.

An NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll finds 40 percent of respondents view the NRA negatively, compared with 37 percent who view the organization positively.

This represents the first time since before 2000 that more people have viewed the NRA in a negative light than in a positive light in the poll.

It also reflects a stark change since the question was asked in an April 2017 poll. In that poll, 45 percent of respondents said they viewed the NRA positively and 33 percent said they viewed the organization negatively.

Conservatives will be paying a heavy price for their loyalty to blood money taken.

in all reality, shouldn't we be more concerned with the top leadership there than blaming the entire organization? I'd be really curious as to how many members have decided not to renew because of all this bullshit they're putting out.

Meanwhile, there's another organization, Ducks Unlimited, which is all about waterfowl hunting and wetlands conservation, which still hasn't put out any political propaganda. I'm not a member there either (I'm not a hunter), but I've looked at their web site a few times to see if they're staying out of politics, and so far they seem to be.

The "members" are just suckers who pay the bills (whatever isn't covered by #NRAROUBLES).

I'll re-phrase my question: (I have to wonder) how many "bill payers" at NRA have decided to stop paying bills because they don't like the political involvement the NRA has taken?

I'm just really curious how many people have had a fall out with the NRA.
