President Donald Trumpís personal attorney used the same limited-liability company to make payments to porn actress Stormy Daniels and an unnamed former Playboy model who was impregnated by a top GOP fundraiser, the Wall Street Journal reported Sunday.

Elliott Broidy, the deputy finance chairman for the Republican National Committee who has close ties to Trump, has paid Essential Consultants LLC $250,000, the sum of his fee to Trump attorney Michael Cohen for negotiating a nondisclosure agreement related to an affair Broidy reportedly had with the former Playboy model.

The Wall Street Journal was first to report on the $1.6 million agreement between the former model and Broidy. Broidy later resigned from his RNC job.

Cohen also used Essential Consultants to pay Daniels $130,000 ó just 12 days before the 2016 election ó to keep quiet about an alleged affair with Trump. Trump and Cohen have both claimed that Trump knew nothing about the agreement.

Michael Cohen, President Donald Trumps personal attorney, used the same Delaware limited-liability company in two secret deals relating to alleged sexual encounters involving his clients, according to people familiar with the matter.

Venture capitalist Elliott Broidy paid an initial installment of $62,500 to the company, Essential Consultants LLC, as part of Mr. Cohens $250,000 total fee for negotiating a nondisclosure agreement related to Mr. Broidys affair with a former Playboy model who alleged he had impregnated her, a person familiar with the matter said.

Federal prosecutors are examining money flowing in and out of Essential Consultants as part of a broad investigation into Mr. Cohens activities to silence women with allegations against Mr. Trump or those in his orbit, according to people familiar with the matter.

The Wall Street Journal first reported the $1.6 million agreement between Mr. Broidythe Republican National Committees deputy finance chairman with ties to Mr. Trumpand the model on Friday. Mr. Broidy later resigned his RNC post.

Federal prosecutors are reportedly looking into Michael Cohenís use of a private company in Delaware to get money to women who alleged they had affairs with two of his clients.

The Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday that Michael Cohen used Essential Consultants LLC to send money to a former Playboy model who alleged top Republican donor Elliott Broidy had impregnated her.

He used the same company to pay $130,000 to adult film star Stormy Daniels, who claims she had an affair with President Trump in 2006.

The Journal reported that Broidy made an initial payment of $62,500 to Essential Consultants LLC as part of Cohenís negotiation fee,
and later paid the rest directly to Cohen. The newspaper reported on Friday that Cohen had negotiated a $1.6 million settlement for Broidy, who served as the deputy finance chair for the Republican National Committee (RNC). Broidy acknowledged the affair, and later resigned his post with the RNC.
