Trump thanks Kanye for improving his numbers with black voters

President Trump thanked Kanye West during his speech to the National Rifle Association (NRA) convention on Friday, giving the artist credit for his rising popularity in the polls among African-Americans.

In the speech, Trump noted that West "must have some power" if he was able to sway such a large group of people to support the president.

"And by the way, Kanye West must have some power, because you probably saw, I doubled my African-American support numbers," the president said. "I went from 11 to 22 in one week."

"Thank you Kanye, thank you," he added.

Trump hails judge's comments on Mueller

President Trump lauded a federal judge on Friday for his recent comments questioning the prosecution of former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort.

Speaking to a crowd at the National Rifle Association Leadership Forum in Dallas on Friday, the president read news clippings of the comments made earlier that day by U.S. District Court Judge T.S. Ellis III, who was appointed by former President Reagan.

Trump blasted the entire special counsel investigation as a "witch hunt," praised Ellis by saying he is "really something very special," and highlighted the judge's comment that Manafort's tax and bank fraud charges were "unrelated" to his work on the Trump campaign.

“We have the best employment numbers we’ve virtually ever had, yet all we hear about is this phony Russia witch hunt," Trump said.

There has been such an increase in attacks on black people I seriously doubt Twitler is gaining in popularity with black people. I heard a lady call in on Sirius urban channel say she has become more fearful since Twitler has been elected and her friends have experienced more negative reactions from white people. She said she was seeing increased hostile looks from white people.
