An NRA crowd erupted in applause on Friday after President Donald Trump recalled former Secretary of State John Kerry breaking his leg.
During his speech, the president criticized Kerry for his handling on the Iran nuclear deal.
Not the best negotiator weve ever seen. He never walked away from the table. Except when he went to the bicycle race, where he fell and broke his leg, Trump said.

(6,045 posts)However, if one takes a step back & looks at 90%-95% of what Trump says, his actions & how Trump reacts to various stuff on a daily basis...It might be just me but Im 100% serious...Obviously Trump was a super spoiled rich kid who never had to pay any consequences for his actions as a child & his Daddy continued bailing his DUMBASS out even after he died!
Trump was never forced to grow up or pay for his mistakes & it really seems like that has left Trump with behavior disorders you would expect to see in K-3rd grade!!!

If I believed in demonic possession that's what I'd suspect. But I don't, and I can't think of a rational reason for that kind of behavior, so I'm just SMH.

(3,171 posts)When Obama was first elected there were people calling him a "Lightworker." Whatever that is. The point is that there were some folks who went a little overboard about Obama, but not on the same scale as what's happening with Trump. And definitely not as vicious and violent. And Obama didn't encourage it and bathe in it.
Still, that kind of kooky devotion to a politician is totally benign compared to the nuttiness from not just Trump's followers but Trump himself. Given what we have now, I'd happily join the Cult of Obama if it means we could have him back in office.

And if your Putin buddy decides to come over here, you better call out the National guard.......................I think there will be thousands in the streets--------------------just saying, 65 million of us don't like it someone meddles in US elections from another country.
And as for the Iran deal, just maybe when we take back the house, we should reinstate the draft and call your family to join, because your going to create a war with Iran, because Obama made this deal, you fucking racist asshole, and you don't care to what extent you will use to erase that accomplishment from his presidency right asshole..............because Macron is warning that if you decide to nix the deal............it will cause problems, real big ones.....................
And do you remember what you said about what happened with protesters back in the day while you were dodging the draft. you said this asshole................."I love the old days. You know what they used to do to protesters like that when they got out of line. They'd be carried away on stretchers."

(11 posts)To be clear, I don't want war, injury or suffering....BUT, I think we should have a law that every elected state and federal office holder's children are immediately enlisted into the US armed services when our nation is at war. I also propose that any declared war has to go through the budgetary process, like the "provide for the common welfare" initiatives are. It's too easy for our leadership to declare unfunded wars that are hidden from the people by the media. Obligatory military service for the offspring of "public servants" could actually help stem the tide of turds in Congress we get under Citizens United. turbinetree, you're a genius. Also, righteous rant!

(3,171 posts)The draft shouldn't be brought back. The military doesn't want it, which is reason enough to let it be.
While we're dreaming, why not go the Starship Troopers route and make it so only retired military can hold public office? Both ideas are equally absurd.
If my dad runs for office, a decision I have no control over, I shouldn't be compelled to join the military. It really is that simple.

(24,632 posts)in Cantonsville MD, they started burning draft cards during the Vietnam conflict, because some people were getting deferments while some friend were being shipped off to live or die, because they could not vote.
Also on this day students were murdered because they believed that they were being used as fodder for the people that were being getting deferments because they got bone spurs and that the military industry complex was worried about body counts.
They also had back in those days a national lottery for the draft, because Westmoreland needed more bodies, they put all 365 days in the barrel and they drew birthdays if you were in the top 200 days you went into the service, and those left over went into the reserve, everyone got into the barrel, but people were still getting deferments.
Cost of wars are based on national treasure, of bodies, and money, and after this country left Vietnam, we had a recession, and it costs this country Billions. Now we have spent over 7 trillion in two wars and counting, the treasury is being sold off and my social security, Medicare are going to come under pressure because of continuing resolution of BS to pay off the debt called war on terrorism. And infrastructure services are under attack and trying to be privatized for greed, because of a 7 trillion plus war debt.
I believe that anyone can run for office and everyone has a right to make choices, but I also believe that everyone should be in that barrel, because then you have to make choice.
Have a nice day

(3,171 posts)I think ladies should also have to register with Selective Service. Fair is fair, after all.
But I cannot get behind the idea of forcing people into service because of their parents' choices. If they choose to join up, that's great. If not, compelling them to do so because of something they had zero control over is wrong.
The intent may be good, but there's a saying about where that road leads.

(24,632 posts)Yesterday I said this is the response to a thread and it is part of my core being:
In Cantonsville MD, they started burning draft cards during the Vietnam conflict, because some people were getting deferments while some friend were being shipped off to live or die, because they could not vote.
Also on this day students were murdered because they believed that they were being used as fodder for the people that were being given deferments because they got bone spurs and that the military industry complex was worried about body counts.
They also had back in those days a national lottery for the draft, because Westmoreland needed more bodies, they put all 365 days in the barrel and they then drew birthdays if you were in the top 200 days you went into the service, and those left over went into the reserve, everyone got into the barrel, but people were still getting deferments.
Cost of wars are based on national treasure, of bodies, and money, and after this country left Vietnam, we had a recession, and it costs this country Billions and to this day we are still paying for that war, look no further than the VA, but some bone spur asshole wants to privatize, because after all he didn't serve and his kids have no balls to serve, but they can figure out a way to make a buck off that privatization, its there narcissistic way of thinking of themselves all the time.
Now we have spent over 7 trillion in two wars and counting, the treasury is being sold off and my social security, Medicare are going to come under pressure because of continuing resolution of BS to pay off the debt called war on terrorism. And infrastructure services are under attack and trying to be privatized for greed, because of a 7 trillion plus war debt and that same VA will have to be paid.
I believe that anyone can run for office and everyone has a right to make choices, but I also believe that everyone should be in that barrel, because then you have to make choice, and this should be done when ever a Congress decides to go and make war, they nationally show that barrel, so the have and have not's are put in there equally, so that they can share that cost all together, after all this country says that everyone is suppose to share in that equally.......................
Have a nice day

(30,657 posts)will he leave office? I worry that he will not go voluntarily. I thought that if Hillary had been elected, there would have been no peaceful transfer of power. He would have refused to accept the outcome, and fomented massive unrest.
Getting rid of him will not be that easy. I think it may take a generation to clean up his mess.
In the meantime, where are the nuclear codes? Is there anyone close to him who can stop a nuclear war? Now that Mueller is getting closer, 45 is more unhinged than ever.
