Trump France: Outrage after US leader mimics Paris attackers

Source: BBCNews

US President Donald Trump has outraged French opinion by suggesting the 2015 attacks on Paris could have been stopped by giving people guns.

He mimicked gunmen summoning and shooting victims one by one, saying "Boom! Come over here!" and using his hand to imitate a gun being fired.

In reality, the attackers sprayed many of their 130 victims with semi-automatic fire and set off bomb belts.

The French foreign ministry called for the victims' memory to be respected.

"France expresses its firm disapproval of the comments by President Trump about the attacks of 13 November 2015 in Paris and asks for the memory of the victims to be respected," the foreign ministry said.

Right now I have very serious doubts that Trump is going to leave the White House, short of being forced out! The Republicans in Congress, are not going to do anything to stop him...any new federal judges that he nominates won't do anything to keep him from becoming a white version of Idi Amin, President for Life!!!

The vast majority of the religious right, will stand by his side, even if Trump was to shoot a a child of color...those fake christians will give him another "mulligan"!

And right now I believe that the US military would follow his orders without question, even if ordered to fire on American citizens, especially unarmed Americans!!!

We have no guarantee that he is going to leave office, this is the best gig he's had since Trump University went under...

military boarding school in NY state that his father sent him to? For just this kind of negative attention seeking behavior. Doing and saying inappropriate, shocking stuff like as a kid running into the LR and knocking over all the Christmas cards, per biographers. Provocative, juvenile, attention seeking, and tiresome still..

toned down, I would think. So jr. would survive, not get his head knocked off, for one.

A kid at elem. school was sassy wild, not mean just all over the place. The transformation when he came back from a few years at military school was radical- he was the most polite, responsible kid you saw, like a different person.

My father and uncle were sent to military academies the last couple years of HS, not really for discipline, maybe prep for war (II) esp. since their father was in politics and LE, dunno. And they kept some of their wild ways, which they'd come by honestly, but on the sly.
