First Mueller convict reports to prison
Dutch attorney Alex van der Zwaan turned himself in Monday after being sentenced for lying to investigators.

A Dutch attorney now has the dubious distinction of being the first person imprisoned in connection with special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation of possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

Alex van der Zwaan, 33, reported to a low-security Federal Bureau of Prisons facility near Allenwood, Pennsylvania, on Monday to serve the 30-day sentence he received for lying to investigators in the course of Mueller’s investigation, according to a bureau spokesperson. His projected release date is June 4, according to information on the prison bureau’s website.

I only recently - and reluctantly - donated my (nearly complete) Poirot VHS collection to Goodwill.

I was moving, and figured someone else should enjoy them.

I must admit to enojoying the David Suchet series a lot more however - not least because in the books, Christie made Poirot out to be crabby and even hostile (especially to his ever-loyal friend, Hastings).

While Suchet always took care to preserve some of the character's edginess, he always came across as a reassuring old soul - the way one always imagines Poirot to be.

I never did read Curtain because I didn't want to read about HP's demise. Too depressing
(Sounds ridiculous, I know, but there you have it)
