Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.) called on the White House on Tuesday to remove an image of Kim Jong Un from a coin meant to commemorate the planned summit next month between the North Korean dictator and President Trump.
Schumers call, made via Twitter, came a day after media reports surfaced about the design of the challenge coin, which features likenesses of both Trump and Kim, who is described on the coin as his nations Supreme Leader.
Such coins are typically minted in advance of presidential trips abroad, and Schumer said in his tweet that issuing one to mark the meeting between Trump and Kim in Singapore on June 12 was certainly appropriate. But, Schumer said, Kim Jong Uns face has no place on this coin.

He is a brutal dictator and something like the Peace House would be much more appropriate, Schumer said, referring to a venue in the demilitarized zone along the border of South Korea and North Korea that has been used for previous peace talks.

(14,144 posts).... while your at it scratch out trDump's face off the coin also. It is only a memento to trDump's narcissistic idealizations anyways.
Now if trDump put a picture of his face on the inside bottom of a puke bag - that would be far more appropriate.

(182 posts)it's a commemorative medal. Coins require a denomination (value) shown on at least one side. Without one, it's a commemorative medal.
These will be worth big bucks if you can get your hands on one. Medals commemorating something that didn't happen, especially this DonJong fuck up.
Wanna bet they were made in 'Ghina'?
