Congress Members Demand to See Immigrant Fathers Separated From Children

Source: nbcnewyork.com

Several members of Congress demanded to see immigrants at a detention center in New Jersey in a "surprise Father's Day visit," saying the fathers inside shouldn't be separated from their children.

Seven U.S. Representatives went to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention center in Elizabeth in what they called #FathersDayofAction. Protesters gathered outside holding signs, including one that read: "Families Belong Together."

About 2,000 immigrant children have been separated from their families at the border over a six-week period, according to U.S. Department of Homeland Security figures.

But I had to post it per late breaking news rules. You can't change a headline. Let's hope it at least helps by bringing more exposure to a horrific human rights abuse situation.

they weren't, BURIED the reality. That is why it is a deceiving headline, MEANT to deceive, MEANT to encourage people to believe Republican congressmen were caring also.

MEANT to negate to role and beliefs of Democrats.

Remember this for media: By their headlines we shall know them.

When you see a headline like this: "Congress Members Demand to See Immigrant Fathers Separated From Children"

explain to your local Trumpers that the Republican members of Congress are demanding that families be split up.

The original headline must have been written by a Republican editor or writer, it's almost enough to support something Trump would say.
