Religious leaders, former judges asks DC to revoke Trump Hotel's liquor license due to president's 'lack of good character'

BY LUIS SANCHEZ - 06/20/18 02:18 PM EDT

Religious leaders and former judges filed a complaint on Wednesday (1) asking the Washington D.C. Alcoholic Beverage Control Board to revoke the Trump International Hotel's liquor license because of President Trump's character.

The complaint argues that a D.C. liquor license can be suspended or revoked if the "true and actual owner" of an establishment is not a person of "good character."

"Donald Trump, the true and actual owner of the Trump International Hotel, is not a person of good character. The Trump International Hotel nonetheless currently holds a Class C/H license issued by the Board," the complaint reads.

The complainants, who are D.C. residents, are asking the board to investigate Trump's "lack of good character." ... They also want the hotel's licensee, Trump Old Post Office LLC, to appear before the board to show cause why its license to sell and serve alcoholic beverages should not be revoked.

Here's a link to the full complaint against @realdonaldtrump, seeking to revoke Trump DC hotel's liquor license b/c its owner is allegedly not "of good character." Again, unclear if the DC govt will take this seriously.

I guarantee you he has committed crimes great and small in every single one of those jurisdictions. Drown him in prosecutions, lawsuits, and regulatory proceedings.

Trump started his Presidency by lying before God with his hand on the Bible.

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States."
