Elizabeth Warren fires back at Trump: A 'bully' going after 'women all across this country'

NATICK, Mass. — Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) responded Sunday to President Trump’s taunting attacks on her last week, calling him a “bully” who is targeting “every woman who speaks up.”

“He tries to bully me to shut me up, and he’s also trying to bully women all across this country. He talks about MeToo. It isn’t just me he is going after,” Warren said after an event at Lookout Farm in this Boston suburb that her campaign said was attended by more than 1,400 people. “It’s every woman who speaks up. He thinks we should sit down and shut up. It’s just not going to happen.”

The response fit a pattern of tit-for-tat attacks between Warren and Trump that began in March of 2016, when Warren published a series of tweets and a Facebook post calling him a “loser.” In more recent tiffs, she has tried to use the exchanges to pivot to policy issues and scandals in the Trump administration.

“The best way to deal with a bully is to be strong, resolute, keep doing what you are doing,” she said Sunday. “But don’t take any guff.”

She said it straight and clear and with good messaging. She framed it correctly: "bully", and she did not use tRump framing language. Follow her lead.

Use "bully" as frequently as possible in the same sentence as tRump.

There is much more that can be done using framing. Sad to say but tRump and RepubliCons are masters at it because they studied it in think tanks starting 40 years ago.

Trump's female outreach program is as successful as his child immigration policies. My question: who are these women who fawn over Donald Trump? Is there a more pathetic case of hero-worship ever?

Call the bully out. Challenge him. Call him chicken shit when he doesn’t accept the challenge. Dotard is dumb as a door knob and cannot answer simply questions. At a debate whip out a naturalization test and challenge him to answer the questions that immigrants need to know to gain citizenship.

is it just me, or do others find that phrase insulting and dismissive of the serious BS that dotard dishes out, and downplays Sen, Warren's comments?
