Fatal Novichok dose 'came from bottle' in victim's house
Source: BBC
A bottle found at Charlie Rowley's Amesbury house was tested by scientists at Porton Down, the Met Police said.
Mr Rowley, 45, remains in hospital in Salisbury after being poisoned on 30 June. His partner Dawn Sturgess, 44, died last weekend.
Further tests will now be carried out, the force said.
Scientists at the Defence, Science and Technology Laboratory are still trying to establish whether the Novichok found at Mr Rowley's house came from the same batch of the substance that contaminated Sergei and Yulia Skripal in March.

(6,881 posts)Assuming the two strains of Novichok are the same, the bottle itself, the composition of the glass, any markings or fingerprints are subject to forensic analysis. Not easy to transfer into another container so would assume it originated from the same laboratory from which it was made.

(5,768 posts).... for drug paraphernalia and picked up the bottle. This is purely a speculative rumor that I heard bullshiting around the water cooler. But it is a plausible theory and the police warned afterwards against picking up needles and syringes.
