A new Center for American Progress poll in 48 Republican-held congressional districts finds a majority of voters think Republicans are more corrupt than Democrats, 54% to 46%.

Democrats also hold a 4-point lead on the generic ballot in these districts, “a notable shift from the last two cycles, where Republicans led in the same districts by an average of 14 points.”

3. YES! Corruption. As many, such as I, have said, folks understand corruption, folks do not like it

at all and seems even Republican Fox-addled voters can not be persuaded to like corruption...a bipartisan issue if I ever did see one.

Corruption by elected officials have brought down far more regimes than all other eans combined, in my estimate.

Now if only the main stream media would dare mention the C word...only treason before the eyes of the world got them to finally state the obvious...constant and frank corruption reporting will finally come only after a thousand cuts also.

4. FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!! WTF TOOK SO LONG (yes shouting!) this is exactly the messge that shiould speak

to just about everyone except that certain malignant 30% who are cultists/true believers.

Used to be - before the age of rw hate radio and identity politics - that people often voted for pragmatic reasons, like having good checks and balances in govt - as much as for ideology.

The progressive movement of early 1900s was preceded by massive political corruption and monopolies having too much power. Similarly Repubs need to channel their inner Teddy Roosvelt - like, NOW!!!!

"Pay to play" = political corruption by definition. They use this innocuous phrase - normalizing what is really a crime (still on the books as such). Time to wake up. This really is the piece that needs to be fixed before anything else can be done - IMHO.

When corruption is so brazen, it becomes very difficult to ignore. The Despicables will continue to ignore it, of course, but they are a small minority.

6. Was just saying this yesterday

in a post about voting machine hacking. Dems need to push the message that the GOP cheat at everything and will steal the election by any means necessary...voter suppression, voter disenfranchisement, foreign contributions, hacking voting machines, even treason.
