Donald Trump's visit to Ireland in November cancelled

The planned visit of US President Donald Trump to Ireland in November has been cancelled.
A Government spokesperson said that the visit by Mr Trump has been "postponed for scheduling reasons".

Last week, Mr Varadkar said the news that Mr Trump was to visit Ireland "came a little bit out of the blue".

Sources in the Department of An Taoiseach and the Department of Foreign Affairs have said the cancellation comes as a considerable surprise to Mr Varadkar and to the Government.

"Do you feel that your unpopularity with a majority of American voters played any part in the recent Republican Congressional losses?" "You're now being described by your own party's leadership as 'an albatross around our necks' and the Republican party - your party - is now openly and publicly turning against you. How do you respond to that?"
Oh, yeah...........Trump wouldn't like those kind of questions. Not one damn bit.
