Koch network pumps $1.3 million into Wisconsin to boost Walker

Source: The Hill

BY MAX GREENWOOD - 09/14/18 09:39 AM EDT

The political network backed by billionaire industrialist Charles Koch is spending more than $1 million on an ad campaign to boost Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R).

The Wisconsin chapter of Americans for Prosperity announced Friday that it would spend $1.3 million on digital and TV ads hitting Democratic candidate Tony Evers in the coming weeks.

Evers is challenging the two-term incumbent Walker for the governor's mansion.

The latest ad campaign comes less than a month after AFP's Wisconsin branch dropped $1.8 million on a series of TV and digital ads touting Walker's record on education.

2. So the question is whether Wisconsin voters will once again be duped by big money.

They KNOW that Koch is tossing his loose change at Walker. They KNOW that Walker is exactly what the state doesn't need. So will Koch's ads be effective, and will the voters once again be entranced by slick ads? Koch knows where the fools live.

10. The money won't make any impact...if voters are like me in MO, we see all of these ...

billionaire's money trying to influence Missouri elections and people are talking about it (Josh Hawley is the beneficiary of these negative ads/Koch money).

I'm sick of the Koch brothers basically telling Americans who to vote for, and so forth. Makes you wonder what is going on. More than likely, they want 0 tax rates, no or zero government, no military, nothing.

Cowards too, not on the front lines explaining their positions and so forth, like most candidates for office do.

People have a right to elect who they support in their own districts without interference.
We need to find a name for this activity that shames it.
Maybe that is what was meant by "carpetbagging"?
