Coke, Aurora in talks to make cannabis-infused drinks: BNN Bloomberg

Source: Reuters

SEPTEMBER 17, 2018 / 7:29 AM / UPDATED AN HOUR AGO

(Reuters) - Coca-Cola Co (KO.N) is in talks with cannabis producer Aurora Cannabis Inc (ACB.TO) to make marijuana-infused beverages, Canadian news service BNN Bloomberg reported on Monday.

The companies would likely develop health-focused beverages that will ease inflammation, pain and cramping, the report said, citing sources familiar with the matter.

“Along with many others in the beverage industry, we are closely watching the growth of non-psychoactive CBD as an ingredient in functional wellness beverages around the world,” Coca-Cola said in a statement, referring to cannabidiol, a constituent of cannabis.

“No decisions have been made at this time,” the beverage group said, adding that it would not comment on further speculation.

...infused has no real meaning.
Cannibanol and THC will be meaningless except for the price they charge.

Think about, a sliced lemon in a pitcher of water, leave in fridge a few hours and you have "infused" water.

FOLLOW THE MONEY !

VOTE THEM OUT 2018 ! !

a preferred beverage to get high...much better for a lot of things.

Grass infused beverages is not going to be enough to get anyone to vote anyone out.

This is hype. This is like adding aspirin to soda.

I remember National Semi NSM in the mid 90s announcing they were going to make an entire computer on one chip. Stock shot up ... they had no reasonable expectation of doing that ... it was for the hype and stock bounce. And the public believe this nonsense.

Best Buy has laptops -- they have a motherboard, hard drive or memory, ports, sound and video (onboard or upgradeable), CPU cache, controller

I don't even think these little 10" screen internet-only computers run everything on one chip.

No, that's never going to happen. But single chip computers have existed for quite awhile now. I'd virtually guarantee that you use many of them every day, unless you were living in a cave, doing the hunter/gatherer thing to survive.

Hence the name.

Wonder if you'll need a prescription for the "New Coke".

Coca Cola has been in the Drug distribution from the beginning.

Their drugs today are Sugar and Caffeine.

And as such, they are the worlds largest drug company imo.
