Sen. Joe Donnelly (D-IN), a red-state Democrat in for a competitive reelection fight, spoke out about the sexual assault allegation against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavnaugh on Monday, calling for a delay in the confirmation process.

Joe Donnelly has the support of northwest Indiana (solid blue) and parts of the Southwest and southeast so I think he will win and I stated earlier that Kavanaugh's nomination would be in jeopardy if Donnelly and other Democrats I mentioned spoke out about the nominee

(51,567 posts)I have been calling him and the other 7 "iffy" Dem and GOP senators for a few weeks. Maybe he isn't as "iffy". I also called the Dems...Heitkamp, Manchen and Jones. Heitkamp and Jones said he thinks Kavanaugh should be delayed until the victim is heard. I don't know where the last "iffy" Dem Sen. Manchin stands.
