Senate Democrats: Kavanaugh's classmate must testify

Source: The Hill

Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) and other top Democrats in the Senate are demanding that a classmate of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh testify at a high-stakes hearing set for Monday.

Democrats said Mark Judge, who was allegedly in the room when Christine Blasey Ford says Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her at a party in the early 1980s, needs to appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee and provide testimony.

Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) on Monday announced that the panel would hold a public hearing with Kavanaugh and Ford to discuss the allegations.

“Let’s not rush the hearings,” Schumer said Tuesday on the Senate floor. “Let’s not repeat the mistake made in the Anita Hill hearings. Let’s call the relevant witnesses, not just the two selected by Chairman Grassley who did not want to call the hearings to begin with.”

Or is this just a suggestion/demand from Schumer to Grassley?

(I'm imagining a nickname f***face would come up with, no offense intended!)

I could see him ordering MC to pay off this clown to take the fall, get up and say it was really him, she was drunk, she's 'mixed up' on who it actually was ... after all this guys already written the book on his debauchery, posted all kinds of pics of hot young women on his instragram and such ... he's already compromised, and it's past the SoL ... so ... what a perfect 'fall guy' situation.

Esp. if Dems get him up there to testify, can you imagine the egg on Dem's faces if he got up before the Senate ... and publicly took the blame? OMG ... the shitshow that would come after!??

It's really TOO perfect, ergo I fully think Donnie would DEFINITELY attempt that move ... if he still had Cohen around to run interference.

(Judge left, Kavanaugh right)

Judge wrote the book "Wasted: Tales of a Gen X Drunk," where he details his experiences of extensive drinking while attending Georgetown Preparatory School. Judge writes that he is "shocked" about what he got away with in high school -- recalling beach parties that hundreds of people would attend. At another point he describes his high school as "positively swimming in alcohol." Judge also references a "Bart O'Kavanaugh," who he writes vomited in someone's car. It has not been confirmed whether this is a reference to Kavanaugh.

Separate from his book, Judge -- in a 2013 piece for The Daily Caller -- says of former President Barack Obama that he "doesn't have just a streak of the feminine in him; he seems to be a woman, and a feminist one at that, with a streak of man in him." In the same Daily Caller article, he compares Michelle Obama with Laura Bush, writing: "With her love of violent movies, her fixation on fitness and death glare that appears when she doesn't like what she's hearing, Michelle is actually more man than her husband. Oh for the days when president George W. Bush gave his wife Laura a loving but firm pat on the backside in public. The man knew who was boss."

"Of course, a man must be able to read a woman's signals, and it's a good thing that feminism is teaching young men that no means no and yes means yes. But there's also that ambiguous middle ground, where the woman seems interested and indicates, whether verbally or not, that the man needs to prove himself to her. And if that man is any kind of man, he'll allow himself to feel the awesome power, the wonderful beauty, of uncontrollable male passion," he wrote.

In [his] yearbook, Judge's page included the quote: "Certain women should be struck regularly, like gongs".

I think we will benefit from his testimony even if he is lying most of the time. It will likely be obvious to most sane people.

Mark Judge

Today’s social justice warriors don’t like a sexy damsel in distress.

(Snip)

Every man who’s fit to live has his own stories about the time, like a Hard Case character, he ducked the police, got in over his head with money, or abandoned himself in pursuit of love or sex. We’ve all climbed up windowsills, driven all night, and gotten into fights over a girl. Of course, a man must be able to read a woman’s signals, and it’s a good thing that feminism is teaching young men that no means no and yes means yes. But there’s also that ambiguous middle ground, where the woman seems interested and indicates, whether verbally or not, that the man needs to prove himself to her. And if that man is any kind of man, he’ll allow himself to feel the awesome power, the wonderful beauty, of uncontrollable male passion.

Hard Case Crime, and pulp fiction in general, is not about controlling and hurting women, although there’s some of that. It’s an expression of authentic male passion, of sweaty sexiness, in a world of pajama boys, government-mandated health food, and reactionary conservative blowhards.
