President Donald Trump on Monday urged voters and congressional Republicans gripped by Brett Kavanaugh's dramatic Supreme Court fight to keep their eyes on the clash that will play out across battleground states in November.

"REMEMBER THE MIDTERMS!" Trump tweeted late Monday evening, following a day that saw the White House and Senate GOP leadership launch a renewed counteroffensive to confirm the president's pick for the high court in the wake of a second sexual assault allegation leveled against Kavanaugh over the weekend.

"The Democrats are working hard to destroy a wonderful man, and a man who has the potential to be one of our greatest Supreme Court Justices ever, with an array of False Acquisitions the likes of which have never been seen before!" Trump also tweeted.

The president deleted that post 13 minutes later, and issued a new tweet with one correction: “Accusations” taking the place of “Acquisitions.”

By the way, why hasn’t the predator in chief been held accountable for sexual offenses? Cosby got his. Franken got his by resigning. Lesser politicians, both Democrat and Republican have been removed from office or resigned on far lesser accusations than what’s his name. Here again, is there a code or law or rule that holds the President of the United States to a different or more perversely acceptable code of conduct? Is this a Kavanaugh edict in disguise?

11. Let's talk about false accusations, dipshit

The reason this piece of shit is in office in the first fucking place is all the false accusations he made against Secretary Clinton.

And yeah, you better remember the midterms. Because if this worthless rapist gets put on the Supreme Court, four things are going to happen.

The first thing is the Democrats are going to run the table in November. You’ve already got farmers in the Midwest who were instrumental in your election saying they’re going to vote their wallets because your trade war is killing them. Withdraw Kavanaugh now and put someone else in his place or be staring at a 56-Democrat Senate on January 6.

The second thing is that we WILL impeach Kavanaugh over lying about his gambling addiction and finances, and you’ll go down in history as the first president who appointed a Supreme Court Justice who was removed by Congress. There are 20 Republicans up for re-election in 2020, and all of them will be gone if they don’t vote to convict in the Senate.

The third thing that will happen is your impeachment. You KNOW Robert Mueller has enough on you to put you behind bars for life.

And the fourth thing that’ll happen to you? Remember that scene in the Star Wars movie when they handed Han Solo over to Jabba the Hutt? Imagine you as Han Solo, the Russian Mafia as Jabba, and a thirty-story apartment complex in Novosibirsk as the block of carbonite, and you’re on the right track.
