'Black folk will be catching hell again.' Ads seek to scare black voters in Missouri

Another of the groups Missouri ads accuses McCaskill, the Democratic incumbent who supports abortion rights, of not caring that black babies that are aborted three times more likely than white babies, said Vernon Robinson, the treasurer of Black Americans for the Presidents Agenda, which has paid for ads in St. Louis and Kansas City.
In the ad, two African Americans discuss photos of their grandchildren. The conversation then pivots to abortion.

And it looks like to me the only black lives that matter to Claire McCaskill are the ones that have a pulse and can make it to the polls to vote for her, the one woman says in the ad.
The other woman responds that she plans to vote for Hawley, saying, The next time Claire McCaskill asks for our vote, ask her why she doesnt want our children.

(2,484 posts)There is zero doubt in my mind that the GRU is getting help from fairly knowledgeable American political operatives. To me this shows a rapid advancement over simple "Obama did this, Trump did this" 4-chan memes. In fact, it is the second story I have commented on today that takes a taboo issue for the left, and attempts to turn us on each other right before an election. Abortion does have a disparate impact on the poor, who happen to be mainly minorities. That is just a fact. But framing it the way this dark money BS does is a tactic of the American Evangelicals, since they use the term "babies", and act as if abortions are shameful.
