On Friday, President Donald Trump revised his statement about treating rocks in the hands of migrants like guns by saying he “didn’t say shoot.”

In response to a question from a reporter about the military firing on rock-throwing migrants, Trump said this: “No, they don’t have to fire. What I don’t want is I don’t want these people throwing rocks.” He then stressed rock throwers would be arrested.

“It was just announced by Homeland Security, you have in just certain areas over 300 people that they know are trouble. What they did to the Mexican military is a disgrace,” Trump further explained. “They hit them with rocks. Some were very seriously injured and they are throwing rocks in their face. They do that with us, they’re going to be arrested, there’s going to be problems.”

Then, clarifying his previous statement, Trump added: “I didn’t say shoot. I didn’t say shoot.”

2. The first time I read/heard the "rock" bit out of shit heads mouth...

I was thinking of the extrapolation to throwing rocks at cops, and giving them the silent wink and a nod, to start popping off at protestors.

As if the police need more leeway to be violent, and justify being "triggered"- literally.
Rocks don't equal bullets. ESPECIALLY when it's the 'proud puds' in the back row slinging the stones, and breaking the windows at marches so the 'cop'pers' can come unglued on the marchers, and claim riotous conditions, and damage to property. (See CHIPS/Proud boys at the BLM marches in St Louis after that kid got gunned down.)
