'Senseless act': Gunman posed as customer before opening fire at Tallahassee yoga studio
USA TODAY NETWORK Jeff Burlew, Tallahassee Democrat Published 2:13 p.m. MT Nov. 3, 2018 | Updated 2:39 p.m. MT Nov. 3, 2018

Scott Beierle posed as a customer inside the a Tallahassee yoga studio before opening fire with a handgun without any warning, according to the Tallahassee Police Department.

. . .

The incident occurred at Hot Yoga Tallahassee located within an upscale shopping enclave, where the suspect walked into a yoga studio and started shooting Two people, Dr. Nancy Van Vessem, 61, and Maura Binkley, 21, were killed and at least five others were injured.

Alex Redding was in the Bar at Betton downstairs from the Hot Yoga studio when a hyperventilating woman ran in, followed by a man with blood on his head. Redding said two to three other people entered the bar seeking assistance and said that a tall man with a beard was inside the studio acting strange and began shooting during the class.

The man with blood on his head told the bar patrons he tried to stop the shooter but was pistol-whipped before the shooter then shot himself.

Tallahassee yoga shooter was a far-right misogynist who railed against women and minorities online

https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/davidmack/tallahassee-yoga-shooter-incel-far-right-misogyny-video

On a YouTube channel in 2014, Beierle filmed several videos of himself offering extremely racist and misogynistic opinions, in which he called women “sluts” and “whores,” and lamented “the collective treachery” of girls he went to high school with.

“There are whores in — not only every city, not only every town, but every village,” he said, referring to women in interracial relationships, whom he said had betrayed “their blood.”

“I’d like to send a message now to the adolescent males ... that are in the position, the situation, the disposition of Elliot Rodger, of not getting any, no love, no nothing. This endless wasteland that breeds this longing and this frustration. That was me, certainly, as an adolescent,” he said.

The mainstream media have no idea how to cover the "incel" movement, but it overlaps with the MRA's and the far right and is also dangerous.

Typical Trump supporter. No woman would have anything to do with him, for eminently sensible reasons, so the cowardly little twerp took out his frustrations randomly on innocent bystanders.

The person who tried to disarm him has more courage than the entire audience at any of Trump Baby's rallies, including the draft dodger in chief, his cowardly children, and his ancestors going back to Grandpa the Pimp.

Coward didn't even have enough guts to simply kill himself. Typical GOP shitbird.

God bless the victims.

The Latest: College student from Atlanta died in yoga attack
Updated 4:21 pm CDT, Saturday, November 3, 2018

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — The Latest on a shooting at a Florida yoga studio (all times local):

4:20 p.m.

A Florida State University college student from Atlanta was one of two people killed in a Tallahassee yoga studio.

The Tallahassee Democrat reported that Maura Binkley was due to graduate in May and she was studying German and editing, writing and media. Her father Jeff Binkley told the newspaper she was hoping to get a job with Teach for America.

. . .

It’s not clear why Beierle was in Tallahassee. He attended Florida State University several years ago but most recently resided in Deltona. He had a room at a local hotel, though police didn’t say which one. Officers searched the hotel room and began a search of his residence in Volusia County this morning, Miller said.

Miller said multiple search warrants have been obtained for the Beierle’s electronic devices and social media profiles. Violent crimes investigators and forensic specialists are attending autopsies of the dead.

Maura Binkley: A Tribute to the Hot Yoga Shooting Victim
By Jessica McBride
Updated Nov 3, 2018 at 12:44pm

Maura Binkley was a 21-year-old student at Florida State University remembered for her kind and loving nature. She had recently returned from a study abroad trip for the university, where she was studying English and German.

On November 2, 2018, Binkley and Dr. Nancy Van Vessem, 61, became the latest to die in an American mass shooting. The two women were among seven wounded – six from gunshots and one person who was pistol whipped. The shooter died at the scene. Some class members fought back but were not able to save the two women’s lives. Police released the victims’ names as Maura Binkley and Nancy Van Vessem. You can read a separate tribute to Dr. Van Vessem here.

Dr. Van Vessem was a faculty member at Florida State. FSU president John Thrasher said in a statement: “To lose one of our students and one of our faculty members in this tragic and violent way is just devastating to the Florida State University family.”

. . .

Tributes to both women flooded into social media.

Here’s what you need to know:

Maura Binkley Was in a Sorority & Hailed From Atlanta

. . .

Courtney Bohn also wrote a tribute to Maura Binkley on Facebook, writing, “Maura Binkley was an incredibly kind, loving, and giving person who did not deserve to die in such a senseless act of violence. I cannot begin to explain the heaviness and heart break I am feeling, but I send all of my love to my Tri Delta family and Maura Binkley’s family as well as all other people and families involved. Rest In Peace you beautiful, beautiful soul❤️❤️”

They are following the MRAs and the incels in their "Hatewatch".

https://www.splcenter.org/hatewatch/2018/11/03/florida-man-who-killed-two-women-yoga-studio-spoke-incel-hero-elliot-rodger-online-video

While a motive has yet to be established, the Tallahassee shooting resembles another mass murder incident where a killer targeted women at Pennsylvania fitness center. In 2009, George Sodini killed three and wounded nine others at a women’s dance class before killing himself. Sodini left a website where he outlined his plot and chronicled years of sexual and romantic failure.

A person who sees another as a thing which will add to his profile, his world experience is someone who leads nowhere at all. Anal, undeveloped, self-obsessed like a baby which has never had any personal care from his parents, or too much "care" from a couple of idiots. He's totally empty, would have to be totally regrown from the first moment of "consciousness." He's only an appearance, and, in his case, an appearance with a sneer, giving off a hell of a lot of hostile signs, far more than any sane person would need to recognize to walk away, in a hurry.

The only thing he would attract would be an equally empty partner who might see him as an object, too, like a piggy bank! Someone who thinks of him/herself as a person of great magnetism, or beauty who can capture his "heart" and hold him forever by employing silly acts, magic tricks, everything it would take to keep him off-balance and in awe to the point it wouldn't be neccessary to leave him to escape his brutality! There will be a declining number of these cowgirls who are willing to live every day for the rest of their lives in a war zone who would consider bonding with them. More women are becoming capable of survival now, more power to them. That means all the baby monsters are going to have to grow up or die as this one did, or by cops, as they try to randomly reduce the numbers of people they believe would reject them.

MountCleaners, thank you, so much, for thinking of checking the SPLC. May whatever deity exists, or deities exist, bless these good, brave people continually, forever, until evil hearts are transformed or gone altogether.

The shooter did not want to kill any men, so he was able to confront the shooter. Any woman who tried that would have been shot dead.
