BREAKING: White House Suspends Jim Acosta's Press Credentials

Source: Mediaite

The White House has suspended the press credentials of CNN’s Jim Acosta following today’s testy press conference clash with President Donald Trump.

-snip-

In a statement, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders blamed the suspension of privileges on Acosta placing his hands on a young woman.

“President Trump believes in a free press and expects and welcomes tough questions of him and his Administration. We will, however, never tolerate a reporter placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern,” Sanders wrote.

She added: “This conduct is absolutely unacceptable. It is also completely disrespectful to the reporter’s colleagues not to allow them an opportunity to ask a question. President Trump has given the press more access than any President in history.”

The press must demonstrate to the world that it utilizes the Constitutional guarantee that the people MAY QUESTION THEIR GOVERNMENT and show up every freaking day to do so.

If the press were to defer that duty, further encroachments on the First Amendment would begin.

Every day that a reporter stands up to ask a question is a day when the right to do so is cemented, again.

So stop with this NONSENSE.

Support the free watchdog press. It's the only check we have against tyranny for now.

When the President is so unprepared that he cannot answer a simple question, it's not the reporter's fault. The President stages a temper tantrum to cover up the fact that he can't (or won't) answer questions. But all he had to do was prepare for the press conference. I'm sure he did nothing and went in cold, just like he always does.

This isn't Jim Acosta's fault, nor any other reporter's. They are doing their jobs and Cheeto isn't.
He's just a lazy tub of lard who's also a bully when he thinks he can get away with it.

Because administrations generally don’t want to be seen as deciding who is or isn’t a qualified journalist, it’s unheard of for a reporter to be suspended for the quality of his or her reporting or behavior, though there are a few notable cases of reporters being barred for security reasons.

https://foreignpolicy.com/2010/06/07/can-the-white-house-revoke-a-reporters-credentials/

WASHINGTON — A ruling issued on Monday by a federal judge in Manhattan, in a case brought by a freelance journalist without a lawyer, may interest the White House. The judge said that the New York Police Department may have violated the First Amendment by revoking the press credentials of the journalist, Jason B. Nicholas.

Media silence.
Refuse to cover his repulsive words and raving attitudes. Don’t film his moronic actions and block the clips from reaching the people. Interview any and all around him, but refuse to be drawn into the lunatic’s twisted reality show buffoonery.
The Cretin thrives on attention. Give him none. He isn’t actually a working president and never has been. He is certifiable.

They won’t because they are invested in the drama. They need his ignoble idiocy.
But a 48 hour hard ban on the Cretins voice and face on any news feed would be tremendous relief for our country.
