(CNN) - LISBON -- Two years after a campaign marred by hacking, the Democratic National Committee's chief technology officer thinks they may have avoided a similar situation in the 2018 midterm elections.
In his first interview after the midterm elections at the Web Summit conference, Raffi Krikorian told CNN Business they "didn't hear much" on Election Day -- but said the DNC remains on alert for trouble.
"Remember, any sophisticated attack is not something we're going to detect today, it's something we're going to detect a few days or a few weeks or a few months from now," he said.
A sophisticated hacker would figure out a way around the alerts and monitors the DNC has set up, he said. So now the DNC is in the middle of a post-mortem study.

(13,058 posts)I don't care who the candidate is they are never going to get 100%. Even President Obama didn't get 100% of the black women's vote.

The GOPee rarely gets more than 10% of Black women's votes in any race (usually low single digits).
They know better than anyone that to a typical Republican, there is hardly a more contemptible being than a Black woman.

(60,010 posts)from Beto to Cruz. after many complaints, the Repug. election head said it was due to voters making a mistake, but the reports that STILL came out were pretty detailed and from apparently smart voters.
don't know how DNC vote watchers could have missed the news stories about that.

Here's to Beto O'Rourke's future. It's definitely still there.
