France says Trump should have shown 'decency' on Paris attacks anniversary

Source: Reuters

PARIS (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump should have shown some “common decency” and respect France’s day of mourning on the third anniversary of the Nov 13 attacks in Paris, the French government’s spokesman said on Wednesday.

Asked about Trump’s tweets, in which the U.S. leader criticized France’s record in World War One and Two, French government spokesman Benjamin Griveaux said:

“Yesterday was Nov 13, we were commemorating the murder of 130 of our people,” he said. “So I’ll reply in English: ‘common decency’ would have been appropriate.”

Is that not the heart of the problem? I'll say it again - COMMON DECENCY. You know, the golden rule. Polite manners amidst company. Graciousness towards guests. Respect and gratitude towards hosts. Courteously being on time. Consideration for others. Expressions of good cheer and commeraderie. Thank-yous. Ladies first.

What do we learn? Money don't buy class.

rumpathetic loser, this told me more than anything what losers and bullies rump supporters are. When the going gets tough, they run screaming and yelling off into the distance (just like rump going and pouting after the midterms lately).

Cowards. And we're not done yet. We're not done until this horrible stain on American values is washed away and the stench aired out. When 2020 comes, the gop tricks will fail, and the screaming and yelling by rump fanatics will fall on deaf ears. No one will want to listen to them any longer.

A malignant narcissist is incapable of empathy. It is a complete waste of time to expect any normal, decent human emotions from Trump. He has shamed and humiliated our entire country on the world stage and he has done it repeatedly. This is all we will ever get from this sorry excuse of a man.

We really are that bad as a country at this time. The narrative has to change in the media to turn this around. If you listen to any of the Sinclair stations, all you hear is hate speech. It must be called out for what it is and people like Laura Ingraham, Rush Limburger, Micheal Savage, Howie Carr, and Alex Jones must be put out to pasture. We can start by putting public trust regulations back in place for broadcasters. It won't affect cable, but it would affect any content that goes over the airwaves.
