In a statement Wednesday evening, the White House said the deputy national security adviser is leaving her post and will “transition to a new role within the Administration.”

The news comes one day after the office of first lady Melania Trump called for Ricardel’s firing. “The President is grateful for Ms. Ricardel’s continued service to the American people and her steadfast pursuit of his national security priorities,” White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said.

7. Raving Croatian Nazi

Ricardel's father was a member of the notorious Croatian Ustasha regime in WWII which was one of Hitler's most fervent and loyal allies. The Croat Ustasha committed genocide against Croatia's minority Serbian and Jewish communities in WWII and when the regime collapsed, many Ustasha members quietly escaped to new lives in the West, especially Argentina and Paraguay. Go Figure.

She no doubt developed her hard line Conservative views from her Nazi family background and I bet likely defends her father and his Ustasha like to this day. They simply argue, "they fought Communists and were freedom fighters..." Yah right. Exactly what Hitler called his storm troopers when they attacked the Soviet Union in 1941.

I suspect Melania, being of Slovene heritage and whose own father fought for the Slovene Partisans in WWI, is ideologically totally opposite Ricardel.

Good move. Toss the Ustahsa out of the White House. Finally one good move by Trump.
