Jim Acosta Returns to White House After Judge’s Ruling: Grateful for Colleagues Who Stood by Us

A federal judge ruled today in favor of CNN’s Jim Acosta after the Trump administration pulled his hard pass, and a triumphant Acosta returned to the White House this afternoon.

“I just want to say that I’m very grateful for what happened today,” Acosta said. “And grateful for my colleagues in the press who stood by us through all this. This was a test. And I think we passed the test.”

After the ruling today, President Donald Trump and Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said that the White House is writing up rules to address decorum at briefings.

10. This is going to be bad for the reporters,

especially Acosta.
A, Trump can treat Acosta as if he were invisible.
B, the judge said that Trump can put forth “rules of conduct, and kick someone out for violating them. That would allow trump to boot people and still be in compliance with the judge.
Trump is just petty enough to find ways of screwing with people that cross him.
