Trump dismisses criticism from Navy SEAL who led Osama bin Laden mission

Source: The Hill

President Trump in an interview broadcast Sunday dismissed criticism from the retired admiral and Navy SEAL who led the operation to assassinate Osama bin Laden.

"Fox News Sunday" host Chris Wallace noted during a discussion with the president that Bill McRaven has said Trump's attacks on the media are the "greatest threat to democracy in his lifetime."

Trump in response called McRaven a "Hillary Clinton fan" and "Obama-backer."

"Wouldn’t it have been nice if we got Osama Bin Laden a lot sooner than that, wouldn’t it have been nice?" Trump asked. "You know, living – think of this – living in Pakistan, beautifully in Pakistan in what I guess they considered a nice mansion, I don’t know, I’ve seen nicer. But living in Pakistan right next to the military academy, everybody in Pakistan knew he was there."

the song goes. And anything Obama did, Tiny could have done better. In his mind only, of course. "Captured Osama Bin Laden? Meh, should have done it sooner. I'd have done it sooner."

I can hardly wait until that mofo is GONE. Every morning I get up and check the news, hoping desperately that he's not in the WH any more. I don't care how he goes, just so he goes.

When I wake up I turn on MSNBC and start skimimg through DU OPs hoping I'll find that he's out - for any reason. I don't even care how anymore.

Ideally, his presidency would be found invalid and Hillary would be installed as the rightful POTUS. (That's my dream.) But really, he could be gone for any reason and I'd be good with it.

First, he'd barricade himself behind a classroom of kindergartners.

Secondly, he'd send Melania out to barter sex for a free pass for Chickenhawk Bonespur.

Thirdly, he'd shit enough bricks to build a little brown bunker behind the White House.

He was in Japan on Veterans Day, so Mike Pence attended.

On his tombstone, Trump's epitaph is going to be: "I'm not dead, you're dead and you're stupid!"

He reminds me of Sheldon on "The Big Bang Theory" explaining why he lied about his spectacular (and non-existent) sex life with his long-suffering girlfriend, Amy Farrah Fowler: "Telling a lie made me look good, while telling the truth made me look bad."

a few years after 9/11 and the special CIA unit put together to hunt bin Laden was disbanded in 2006.

So, there was no searching for bin Laden basically from 2005 through 2008.

Adm. McRaven had a distinguished career of almost four decades in the USN, and saw active combat service in multiple conflicts over that period; he is a recipient of the DSM (twice), Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, etc.

As an example of the type of leader he is, here's his commencement speech at UT:

[link:http://

|]

Adm. McRaven is a man of demonstrated courage, dignity, integrity, daring, audacity, intelligence, and professionalism; he is a true patriot and and an exemplar of an officer, a leader, and a sailor.

Mr. Trump is a coward, a criminal, and a traitor.

How can it be that he is given ANY attention? EVERYTHING he says is total bullshit. . .

I just got back from France and had to listen to my French friends just rip Pussy Grabber a spanking new rectum along with a general criticism of Americans for voting for that fucking piece of shit. Of course I didn't mind listening to ANYBODY talk about Pussy Grabber, but I had to take issue with the business of Americans voting for Pussy Grabber. I had to remind my friends (more than once) that a DISTINCT majority of Americans voted for HRC.
