Trump says troops on border are ‘tough people’ and don’t need to spend Thanksgiving with their families

President Donald Trump on Tuesday dismissed the idea that U.S. troops were suffering by spending time away from their families on Thanksgiving.

Before the president headed to his Thanksgiving festivities at Mar-a-Lago, the president was asked about the thousands of troops who he has ordered to spend the holiday on the U.S. border.

“Don’t worry,” Trump assured members of the press.

Trump added that the soldiers are “tough people” who are used to making sacrifices.

After he arranged this political PR stunt for them in the first place. I do know someone in the military that is livid with him now for this. He said their are huge numbers of people he's around that are against him now for this too. He does not support the military, he hates them like he does this country unless they're his personal weapons that serve only him, and not the country.
