A day after expressing gratitude for himself on Thanksgiving, President Donald Trump renewed his call for “a major Border Security package, which will include funding for the Wall” and “really good criminal justice reform” in Friday morning tweets.

Trump directed his criminal justice reform call at Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer who he says “have a real chance to do something so badly needed in our country.”

But instead of tagging the verified Sen. Schumer Twitter account, Trump’s tweet mentioned an account that describes itself as an “unofficial fan club of Chuck Schumer.”

1. Democrats better not give one red penny for that stupid fucking wall

trump ran a racist campaign on an invading migrant horde and lost the House. That gives the cowardly amoung the democratic caucus (Chuck Schummer) a political cover if they haven't the moral backbone to just say HELL NO!

12. Agreed but they need to push back in more intelligent ways such as offering up

some things simply for better common sense border security nationwide.
For example things like improvements at airports for security as well as improve the speed of it make sense plus funding for a number of (unarmed) drones equipped with both night vision and infrared cameras to improve border security.
After that I think they should offer up shifting a significant amount of the DOD funding to the coast guard to both improve protection of our borders that are along the ocean as well as providing better assistance in the case of emergencies at sea.
All of those things make more sense than a bloated phallic symbol of a wall that Trump wants (probably as a monument to his self imagined greatness) to supposedly combat illegal immigrants because if that was what he really wanted to do he would be asking for laws to hold the ones that knowingly hire them more responsible with things like stiffer mandatory prison time.

6. Democrats and Republicans should come together on wall funding

and tell Donald Trump "NO FUCKING WAY".

There should be a measure from the Democratic Congress that sends a bill of $1.6 Billion to Mexico for their payment of the first installment of the wall funding that was in the most recent spending bill. When they pay that to us, we'll consider the next installment.

Not only is it a big waste of money, but landowners along the Mexican border don't want it. South Texas went significantly bluer this year. Arizona elected a Democratic Senator for the first time in forever. When the feds start taking land by eminent domain, the shit will hit the fan.

10. The wall is frankly one of the dumbest ideas I have heard in my 71 years.

Most of our illegals fly into America and overstay their visas. The Texas ranchers along the border don't want the wall. There are places where the wall will cause massive flooding. What a waste of money, but then again, that may be the real reason Repugs want it.
