Even Booker wouldn't quarrel with that.

"I will consider running for president," Booker told NJ Advance Media.

"That's something that I will do. There's people in New Jersey who are talking to me about it, across the country that are talking to me about it, so I will consider that."

The first time I ever saw Cory Booker on the Rachel Maddow show, I said to myself: "Self... this Booker fellow going to be the President of the United States, someday." (And he was still "just" a mayor at the time.)



I also predicted that Tommy Lee Jones (the Fugitive) and Cher (Moonstruck) would win Oscars... so there's that, too.
